about

This one was inspired by the Composer/Musician known as Michael McCann who wrote the soundtrack to the video game called "Deus Ex : Human Revolution".

After picking apart his style for a few months, I dove in head first and tried to emulate his layering format and think I have come close.

The original simple instrument track made me think of something from the Orient, plucky, high tone tinny. The rest sort of fell into place as it went along.

So I can only imagine a modern day Samurai using this for meditative purposes, and enjoying it, when he isn't meditating.

By the way, I'm not above using free things in compositions, and thought I would/should mention the VST I used for the plucky tone (and a few others in this song and many others) was created by a guy by the name of Chris Sciurba.

The free plug in is called String Theory 1.5 and works wonders for neat sounds.
